Now as a woman, this is a revelation. It means you can choose the right food to make your locks maintain its original youthfulness. Spinach is one item that can help you with preventing hair loss. What makes spinach special is its high iron content. This leafy green is rich in iron, magnesium, calcium and potassium. No wonder spinach is a wonder food, take it from Popeye himself!

Biotin is the one ingredient most used by top-of-the-line hair care companies to promote hair growth. It also promotes scalp health, thereby preventing hair fall. These foods are also rich in protein and minerals. It’s good to know that with egg, liver and whole grains, you can eat full and look beautiful at the same time.

This vitamin gives your skin a good hue, keeps your eyesight sharp and your hair soft and shiny.

With this combination of vitamins and minerals, oatmeal is also good for your skin and heart. You can also use oatmeal for a quick and inexpensive face mask to moisturize your face in just 5 minutes.
  9.   Barley – Barley is another superfood that can keep you healthy from top to toe. Barley is rich in Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that keeps you looking and feeling young. This grain also protects your skin and hair from damaging UV light. Vitamin E also keeps your scalp healthy and hair loss at bay. You can always take a natural Vitamin  E supplement but barley is the best source since it also contains a mixture of other vital minerals.

Eating right gives you energy and as a bonus, a good diet will also keep your hair and scalp healthy. No artificial vitamins or supplements can compensate a poor diet. Getting thick and lustrous hair isn’t that complicated, it simply a balance of healthy lifestyle and good choices.
